Hello,

I'm a guy in my late 20s, generally healthy, eat healthy, fairly athletic, and I was wondering if anyone could give me suggestions for a general anti-aging supplement regimen/protocol, or how to improve the one I'm on right now ... Currently, I'm taking:

** 45 minutes before breakfast:
500mg Acetyl-L-Carnitine

** With breakfast:
Super CoQ10 (Ubiquinol) 50mg
Alpha-Lipoic-Acid 600mg
L-Carnosine 500mg
Biotin 5000mcg
Vitamin C 3000mg
Men's Multivitamin (no iron)
Fish Oil 3000mg (w/900mg Omega-3s)

** 45 minutes before lunch:
500mg Acetyl-L-Carnitine

** With lunch:
Vitamin C 3000mg

** With dinner:
Super CoQ10 (Ubiquinol) 50mg
L-Carnosine 500mg
Decaf Green Tea Extract 725mg w/98% polyphenols & 45% ECGC
Vitamin C 3000mg
Fish Oil 3000mg (w/900mg Omega-3s)
Garlic supplement

** 1 hour before bed:
1mg time release Melatonin

Thanks in advance!!
Jon

Take the L-Carnosine and Vitamin C on an empty stomach with your acetyl-l-carnitine. Vitamin C is water-soluble. Also, if taken with food, it increases the absorption of iron which isn't good.

You may need to add 25-30 gms of whey protein (which is an excellent source for cysteine amino acid, essential building block for glutathione) and 600 mg of N-acetyl cysteine.

Further I would suggest including 400 mg of Magnesium citrate (most of the multi contains magnesium oxide which is not absorbed by the body) as well as 200mg of Glisodin everyday..

Your supplement regimine is fairly similar to mine

I'm in my mid twenties and I also use and would recommend

Probiotics
Turmeric or Curcumin
Vitamin D3
NAC
Benfotiamine
Resveratrol - (if your convinced) I take 400-500mg a day
