I'm just starting out on nutrional supplements and have come up with a list of items I like to order. The total order is about $400, and it's at least 15% cheaper if I get it from unique nutrition. After reading some of the drama on this forum about UN, it is obvious that they have questionable business ethics. However, their prices are so good it's hard to resist! They also carry some items that Relentless don't.

Their standard international shipping method (I'm in China) is $15 flat. It has no tracking service and Aaron said it would take 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. Now, I can see a case of phantom shipment that was never sent somehow get lost in the mail with such a shipping option. So I asked about a shipping option with tracking and insurance. My thinking is UN will have a harder time cheating under these circumstances. I have yet to receive a reply. But if UN can ship using my preferrred method, I think I will place my order with them. All my products are AOR or LEF so I don't have to worry about impurity as long as the products aren't opened.

So, has anyone order from UN recently and have good/bad experience to share?

I ordered from UN and the order was sent out fast and profesionally. The so called "questionable business ethics" you speak of are a matter of opinion and seem to come from their competitors and a few people dedicated to bringing them down. I have never heard a report from anyone saying they got ripped off by UN or that their products were less than high quality. I've also ordered from BAC and gotten excellent service as well as from Bulk Nutrition and others. Do not be so easily swayed by a propaganda campaign.

The evidence on this forum surely seems against UN. However, there is always two sides to a story, so I hate to jump to conclusions. More importantly, I'm happy with my dealing with Aaron so far these past few days. His email replies are prompt and he seems like he's willing to go out of his way to meet his customer's requests - he agreed to ship with tracking.

If all goes well, I should be placing the order with them soon.

I would ask him for a COA of the product you ordered. Something to consider for every purchase regardless the company you place your order.

Yes, I would do that for UN's own brand. Now, I'll just be ordering LEF and AOR products.

Xanadu, per usual, is just trying to stir up trouble. Every long term member of the Institute knows the UN story and it isn't a propoganda campaign. There are many threads people can check out regarding the situation and how it all came down, and it has little to do with their prices or service. Personnel (1, 2, 3 or more people) from UNI created Life Mirage and/or had a hand in LM's maintenance in the Imminst forums. One person paid for the account, another UNI employee registered the account, and a few people claimed that Lee Crost was the main person behind the virtual persona, . For a while Lee was on the UNI website as an advisor and even listed on UNI's state of Illinois papers. The whole thing erupted because LM (Lee or whoever) was at the very least leading people to believe he was a "doctor", whereas as far as everyone could figure out he only had a medical degree and never became a registered practicing physician anywhere. When Imminst members asked Lee Crost if he was really LM, he flatly denied it a few times. In fact, one day, while Lee was on the phone with an Imminst director, LM was simultaneously in the chat room holding a chat. So LM was kicked out - whoever it was. OK, so you might think so what, you never know who is who in internet forums....take everything with a grain of salt.

The bigger problem is that someone (or a few people) from UNI still hold a grudge against Imminst and against Relentless Improvement. About every couple months a new member comes in and starts trashing RI or starts a viral marketing campaign for UNI. They have been warned many many times about commercial spam and viral marketing in the forums, yet they keep coming back and we keep having to ban them. We have mounds of forensic evidence linking her/him/them to UNI. I talked to Aaron about it. He said UNI is a good company and he is not sure how they got such a bad rap. I suggested that maybe they have some loose cannons at the company running around ruining UNIs reputation. I hope Aaron is able to root them out.

Here is the deal...time heals all wounds. All it would take is some up front answers about the whole situation and a promise to stop spamming Imminst fourms, and UNI could get back in good graces. Again, it doesn't really have much to do with service or prices.

"it doesn't really have much to do with service or prices."

When I buy from a company, I do not care about politics, personalities or gossip. I do care about quality, service and prices. Other people may have different priorities.

For some people, choosing which companies to support goes beyond the prices. Some people feel the way representatives of UN have acted in the past and continue to act in some cases tars the company's image. Some don't. It's nothing new in business, but we all make choices on what is most important to us.

So if an anon person shows up and acts a certain way on the boards, you can tell who they work for? How do you know that? Maybe it's their competition trying to make them look bad?

I'm not interested in supporting some company. I'm interested in quality, service and price. You may be more interested in politics and going along with what your buddies think. To each his own.

xanadu, I'm not even talking about the whole LM thing. It's too tiring to even get back into all of this.

Yeah. Sadly, some of us care about the effects of our actions. It really is a bad trait to have. I've become less of an asshole as my hair has grayed.

I need something. It has slowly progressed starting a couple of years ago. If the trend continues, it will be quite noticeable by my 25th birthday. I think I might celebrate by getting a pipe and leather elbows put on my suits.

Now that is pimp right there. You can hit the early bird specials for dinner, too.
