Fibroblast growth factor 21 research indicates a CRON-like lipid profile and some nifty weight management if administered directly:

Would it be possible to stimulate endogenous production through supplementation, e.g. using a precursor or something else - any forum experts willing to speculate [glasses] ?
(even better might be obtaining the substance and using it directly, but dunno if that is such a good idea yet (dosage, interaction))

Rosiglitazone may be worth looking into. Other TZDs would behave in a similar manner, I would imagine. Not that I'd really want to supplement TZDs in the long-term, though.
