Very true. I'll send you some chocolate or something when you get your eventual project under way to help out. :))

I love pimp that snack!

Some guy (think it was Richard Hammond, a TV presenter) was on a programme over here a while ago where he made a giant Jaffa Cake. Apparantly tasted absolutely disgusting, but looked brilliant!

Jaffa cakes are one of the best things ever made! They have a sponge bottom, a kind of orange jelly in the middle and topped with chocolate. They do other flavours now but the original ones are by far the best.

I posted this a few weeks ago in a thread that got banished to a low-traffic area, so I figured I'd reproduce it for a wider audience.

In Japanese, but you get the idea:

"Forget cheese being the only ingredient in a stuffed-crust pizza, Pizza Hut's new Double Roll sticks hot dog sausages in there too. It's also lovingly sprinkled with hamburger pieces for the full fast food meat experience. The medium size costs 2500 yen (£10/$20.50) while the large will set you back 3550 yen (£14/$29)."

Why does this thread keep coming back to life when I am really hungry! I knew I shouldn't have looked.

"... It’s also lovingly sprinkled with hamburger pieces"

How do you "lovingly sprinkle" something with hamburger pieces? Is this the porno version of a pizza with some guy out the back pulling the meat from the grill just that little bit early before leaping over to splatter the crust with dripping burger chunks? And how many guys work in a Pizza Hut kitchen anyway? Please don't tell me this pizza is a group effort.

I bet that Krispy Kreme burger is quite delicious. I'm in Austin today and about to go to Hut's Burgers downtown -- one of the best burgers I've ever had, and they have both whole wheat buns and natural beef options. It's a rare treat for me to eat a burger, and this is one of the few places I'll do it.

Wouldn't touch that deep fried pizza though. Deep fried anything just turns me off completely.

In Dallas at the State Fair they were selling Friend Coke, which is batter mixed with pure Coke syrup, then deep fried and topped with whipped cream. Apparently, it was a huge hit. I'm so anti-Coke though -- just a bunch of processed chemicals trying to sell itself as "food" of some sort -- that there's no way I'd ever try it.

I still prefer a Chicago Deep Dish Pizza with two Polish sausages and a gyro and Jays potato chips. I'll wash it down with a pint of Old Milwaukee beer. That is just a snack, for supper I'll go to a Greek restaurant. and order a side of lamb with mint sauce.
Good thing I don't live in Chicago any more, I'd might get fat! ;)

In Alabama, I'll have the deep fried catfish and BBQ pork (the white BBQ sauce is better) with vinegar coleslaw and sweet tea.

Indeed. Too much bread. Not enough spicy meats.
