I feel obliged to address the balance (ouch!) and say that I have gained c6 lbs since being on rez. however, as with all these anecdotes you have to look at the whole picture ie
1) I'm just back the gym
2) I'm eating more protein because of the physcological shift towards "feeding my workouts" making gains etc.. Thus eating more and...
3) I'm taking creatine therefore absorbing more simple carbs and (hopefully) plumping up my muscle with more water than usual.
my point?
Most people when they embark on a new supplement, like a thesis or study, do so with the intention of working towards a conscious or semi sub-conscious goal.
People will hit this thread because they are interested in Losing weight (yes, now I'm over-simplifying intelligent people) and/or trying rez because this is one of it's benefits (why didn't you go into the SENS thread for example...?).
So, I have taken Rez, 300-400mg per day for the last 6 months, I have gained considerable weight, sometimes I have felt stimulated... or was that the rhodiola....or Alcar...or modafinil.. If you are going to ramp up to 1000mg per day you are probably doing so around meals and it WILL effect the way you select those meals and the components thereof, higher protein? I wonder if it helps with assimilation of Branch Chained Amino Acids..? We are all here because we are looking for something
We're a long way down on the bottom of the Rez Knowledge curve and this forum is incredibly willing to accept any indications of merit without any real human proof. But I suspect that many of us will look back on this thread in 2+ years time and shake our heads... Maybe at you..maybe at me.
Rant over, no significant point made, just food for thought.
I'm off to france tomorrow where I fully intend to assimilate rez in its natural form with all its concurrent absorption factors and potentiators - sorry I mean I'm going drink a lot of red wine. Vive la Paradox!
