Time until you notice effects or that you even notice *any* effects can vary greatly among individuals. Assuming your body responds to piractam and that you're working with the correct dose for you individually, you could see results as soon as a week or maybe a few days. Some people claim an attack dose provides results faster. It's debatable.

On the other end of the spectrum, it could take a month or longer of consistently taking it. My advice is to shop around and buy it in bulk. While the quality may not be as good, it will give you a lot more piracetam to play with as far as different doses and total time on it...

I feel acute benefits from Piracetam, and some of my friends do too.

When starting a "cycle", the 1st dose (I do not use attack doses) of 1g + choline already creates notable verbal fluency increase, rapid eye movements and athletic performance improvements after 1 hour or so.

the benefits keep increasing over a few days, and level off after 3-5 days (you just feel the difference less)

Some people need more time to saturate brain plasma levels, but it definetely CAN produce acute effects in invidividuals, 1st dose, no loading.

To conclude, you might want to try different Piracetam dosages (like low dose 400 mg day to the standard 2.4mg day) dosage combined with different choline sources (dmae is ok, centrophenoxine is better but tastes like crap and gives foul body odor, best is a-gpc but $$$), and vit B to see what works for you.

Even then, seems like SOME people don't react at all to Piracetam etc.

I guess it depends on how badly you are "unhealthy" or "damaged" to begin with. (see the theory that piracetam only works on elderly or unhealthy)

Works like a charm for me with DMAE, accute effects etc.

I must be really unhealthy and damaged!

rapid eye movements

Just curious, what is meant by that in this context?

All ppl react to piracetam. It is only the fact that some ppl are not "in-tune" to their bodies as other ppl are. I am going to start taking it again at lower doses to see what happens. Will give my report after results are in. I'm out.

Eye movement (in sleep, or often during the day) is somewhat linked to prefrontal-lobe activity, which is affected by Piracetam.

I guess this doesn't happen to everyone, but I personaly feel like I have a hard time focusing my vision/not having eye movement for minutes+ when under the effect of stimulants (might be linked to CNS activity too in that case), and racetams potent doses.

It just "feels" to me like the brain is running faster, and "unused" brain cycles are converted into eye movement or slight motor movements. Some science could back this up I guess so don't take my comment for granted, it's just what I have observed in my case.

this is an interesting discussion... I just received my Unique Nutrition 800MG Caps of Piracetam last week. The first day I took one was before a 2.5 hr Financial Exam. I had taken caffeine and PEA (Basic Cuts) about 2hrs earlier upon waking... Once in the exam I definitely felt the Piracetam, I felt zoned in with razor sharp clarity: an experience very different from the speeding up of Caffeine.

Since then I have taken it upon waking with Neurostim+C (includes Chlorine Citrate, DMAE and ALCAR) and felt a mild synergy which is especially useful during stressful work situations where I dont want extra adrenaline flowing through my body. I can also note there is no noticeable crash from this stack.

Tomorrow I will try upping to 1600mg of Piracetam upon waking...
