I look for information on how to convert IU to mg. I know that these are different for all the vitamins (and other chemicals). For example 1 IU Vitamin C = 50 µg L-ascorbic acid.

I saw this too but on this moment I was looking for gamma-tocoferol and that isn't there. It would be handy if I had a list of substances and the conversion. But thanks for the reply.

The more I think of it, whoever heard of a unit for the same type of thing (molecules) that varied according to the material it is applied to? That's really bizarre to me coming from an engineering background...

Only alpha tocopherol is officially vitamin E, so the other vitamers don't count in the IU tally.
