Exactly. I've had levels of hCRP in that range as well that were associated with normal infectious activity. Has been a long time ago and I've not been aware of any clinical or sub-clinical death.Elevated CRP is an indication of elevated immune activity, like a fever. Hearing you have a fever, and nothing else, who would say, "OMG you might have HIV!" That would be ridiculous. Forget the subject even came up. You do not have HIV.
