How long can one keep Kefir in the frdige ? (what is the english word for this : durability ? )
I read different opinions about it, some say 48 hours, some say 5 days (7 degrees in fridge) .

Can i still drink it after 2,3,4,5 days ?

The Kefir I buy has a refrigerated lifespan of about two months. I'm guessing this is homemade kefir -- in that case, you'll just have to experiment. There will be an obvious change in its taste when it is starting to go bad. In my experience, it becomes overwhelmingly bitter/sour.

is this kefir you've made or that you've bought?

The stuff you make you can keep in the fridge pretty much forever (over time it becomes slightly alcoholic). I would assume that if you bought it; it has an expiration date?

it's self made kefir. So i just need to check the taste....
In the "manual"provided with the kefir grains, there was a note that you have to drink it in the first 24 hours.
