Hi, I've been taking Piracetam daily but would really like to switch to Aniracetam. Has anyone had experience with both. Do you see basically the same results? If I did switch is there anything Piracetam does better that I would be missing out on. The biggest reason I want to try Aniracetam is because of it being fat soluble I could take it once a day. Also, I've heard from some it's better. Any input?

I've tried Aniracetam long ago for 10 days at 1,500 mg daily, with no discernable effects.

I believe in did not kick in as soon as Piracetam and Oxiracetam, because Aniracetam is fat soluble and can take longer in work (as far as seeing a difference).

I do plan on trying it again for 1-2 months straight.

It does have some advantages over piracetam, but in my opinion either is better overall than the other, try them both and see which one offers you better or more effects, while keeping cost in mind.

Fat solubility does not mean that a substance only needs to be dosed once daily. Aniracetam, as well as metabolites, actually have shorter half-lives than piracetam. So you may need to dose it even more often.

Hmm... well from everything I've read... dosage is 750mg once or twice a day. And recommendations for Piracetam are 800mg thrice a day. Of course everyone's different, but that's about average.

Hey LifeMirage, have you tried Pyroglutamate? Do you know how similar it is to Piracetam? Thanks

In very high doses it did feel like Piracetam, but no where near as strong.
