SciVee Watch scientists present their results. Anyone use this site? Is it useful or not.

Never heard of it but it's not easy to navigate, seems just like a mess of videos. The video and backup text can be helpful in explaining a topic though.

Edit:
I looked thought the site a bit more and it seems that the speaker who accompanies the paper explains their paper piece by piece. Based on the few I watched they don't put things in laymans terms; the papers and discussions seemed to be targeted at those with strong scientific background. The video quality is OK though some speakers are hard to understand.

I found an unfortuantly fairly complex presentation on Acetylcholinesterases. Here's the link if anyone's interested: http://www.scivee.tv/pubcast/16299589

It has been around for a few months but it hasn't really taken off yet I think because hardcore scientists are not usually great presenters. Instead of listen to someone talk in a monotone about the research, I think a lot of people would rather just read it.
