SciVee Watch scientists present their results. Anyone use this site? Is it useful or not.
Never heard of it but it's not easy to navigate, seems just like a mess of videos. The video and backup text can be helpful in explaining a topic though.
Edit:
I looked thought the site a bit more and it seems that the speaker who accompanies the paper explains their paper piece by piece. Based on the few I watched they don't put things in laymans terms; the papers and discussions seemed to be targeted at those with strong scientific background. The video quality is OK though some speakers are hard to understand.

It has been around for a few months but it hasn't really taken off yet I think because hardcore scientists are not usually great presenters. Instead of listen to someone talk in a monotone about the research, I think a lot of people would rather just read it.
