New documentary about virtual worlds called "Second Skin". Not sure when it is due out or anything, but here is the trailer for it:

About time! Hope it is well done, there have been a few things done before but nothing very good. I've never played an on-line game, but have been fascinated by their development and evolution over the past decade--and affects on personal friends and society at large

My husband is going to the South by Southwest 'movie/music/technical communication/popular culture' conference here in Austin, where Second Skin is premiering--in case anyone else is going here is info about its interactive panel time-- http://pwdocs.com/secondskin/blog/.

Here is an article I saw about the movie: http://pacificrimx.w...in-documentary/

Wow its a documentary about WoW! Cool! It's definitely forth watching. It's kind of funny ... I'm in college and I too have never played an online game. I've always wondered why people became so upset about virtual worlds. I mean if the graphics were like the ones from crysis with physics from half life 2 along with full body immersion I can understand ... but to become suicidal over a game, wow.
