*disclaimer: I don't know if this is exactly the right spot for this thread, but I've seen movie threads in this subforum, so I figured this would go here*

Music is one of my favorite things in the world, and plays an important part in many people's lives. So, with that being said, what do you like? Metal? Rap? Country? Classical?

(this will also be interesting to see if 'immortalists' share similar tastes in music)

Personally I love metal. Black metal and viking/folk metal to be exact, with power metal coming in right behind.

So, how what do you listen to?

Humz maybe better check my lastfm profile out. I believe i have listened to almost 500 different artists, from classic music, rock, acid, techno, minimal (house, techno) breakcore, singer songerwriter stuff, electro...almost everything besides hip-hop and rap (though i listen to cypres hill or Tarsier) for the last 7-8 months.
This seems to be my current top 30. I don't know what Tori Amos is doing in this list, probably my gf listens to it alot :p My music taste depends alot on my mood, the season and many other factors that can influence music taste. I'm very sensitive to music.
Currently i'm listening alot to Sigur Ros. (see documentary Heima)

The most brilliant music ascribed to human effort was composed by the living deity, Nobuo Uematsu.

I like to listen to pre-teens complain about stuff that I don't give a rats ass about. I also like to listen to people brag about how much money they have, and how many women they buy with it.

Just kidding.

MUSIC IS FROM THE DEVIL!! :|o

I usually listen to classic rock, or soundtracks that remind of me of my favorite shows/movies... if I ever listen to music.

Almost ALL of the songs by Modest Mouse :|o

This line pops up in several of there songs "I don't know but I been told you never die and you never grow old." so it makes them just that much better :)

(haha, why would i emphasize all if almost is in front of it?)

A funny song - Le gérontophile - by Bernard Joyet - Album: Au temps pour moi

Certains de nos congénères
Ont la manie bien singulière
De tomber bêtement amoureux
De plus jeunes qu'eux
Quelques dangereux maniaques
Guident leurs ardeurs démoniaques
Vers les tendrons, les jouvencelles
Et les pucelles
Gamines nubiles, novices

{Refrain:}
A point d'effets libidineux !

J'aime les doyennes et les douairières,
Et les grisonnes et les rombières,
Les femmes d'académiciens,
J'fais dans l'ancien
Maisons de retraite, hospices,
Voilà des endroits propices
On n'a qu'à l'ver le petit doigt,
On a le choix
J'aurais, d'après les psychologues,
L'obsession de l'archéologue,
Le complexe du reliquaire,
De l'antiquaire

{au Refrain}

{au Refrain}

Encore, encore !
Madame, quel désir vous agite ?
C'est le diable qui vous excite ?
Non monsieur, ce corps qui frissonne,
C'est Parkinson

{au Refrain}

Parfois ma déraison s'égare,
Je rêve de la perle rare
Qui aurait connu la maman
De Jeanne Calment.
