Hello All,

New member here. I've been using RevGenetics' 99% powder for a few months in a transdermal application using "Penetrate" from www.nutraplanet.com. I've purchased Dr. Jacob's 70% DMSO gel and would appreciate any pointers on solubility -- how much DMSO for a 500mg transdermal application?

Thanks in advance.

If you want to get a high local concentration of resveratrol to treat some body part that is close to the surface, such as a joint, this might be a good approach. If you are looking for a better way to get a systemic dose of 500mg, forget it, it can't be delivered transdermally, even in DMSO. This has been hashed out no end on this forum over the past six months or so. The best way to take resveratrol is orally. It is absorbed quite well, although it is rapidly conjugated by enzymes in the gut and liver. Bioavailability can be improved by various adjuvants and metabolism inhibitors.
