Waking up:

[NSI] SAM-e 200 mg $.33
[NSI] Probiotic 10/10 $.1
[NSI] ALCAR/NA-RALA 1g/200mg $.2 / $.33
[AOR] Ortho-Core x1

(If I feel like it I may throw in: [RI] Picamilon, [Solgar] Rhodiola, or some Tyrosine)

Before Breakfast (+1hr):

[RI] Resveratrol 300mg $.8
[AOR] Ortho-Core x3 $1 (counting the one before)
[NSI] Green Tea Extract x2 (450mg EGCG) $.2
[NSI] Mol. Dist. Fish Oil + Coq10 x1 $.15

(If I feel like it I may throw in: [RI] Sulbutiamine)

There you go. An all around regimen for less than a grande frap at the local Starbucks. Combined with good food and exercise, I feel good all day. Any suggestions/comments? People seem to spread their supps through the day, but I sort of like being done with it just as I'm starting breakfast.

I guess I might as well add the 'relaxers' for nighttime, or whenever:
-[NOW] Kava Kava x2 + [NOW] Theanine x2
or:
-[RI] Phenibut x1 (BTW, I speak Russian and have read a few of the papers and documentation for this "supp." and some of the dosages advocated online (in the grams range) seem ludicrous when compared to the actual instructions--which insist on a 750 mg/day ceiling).
or:
-Valerian 300mg + 5-htp 50mg (Though I should say I'm not that huge a fan of this combo).
or:
(on TGIF or TGIS ... or well TGI_)
-[JW Black Label]: Scotch (YUMM) [+ [Draft] beers. I live in Norcal and being a beer fan here is not bad at all; many bars have a nice selection of local brews on tap.

Also, I've considered trying Bacopa, Ashwaganda, Reishi, Sceletium, but I feel like I'm at a pretty good spot now. Maybe I will replace the Rhodiola with one of those when I run out. Any advice (comments in all categories welcome).

Best,

Alex

P.S. I understand mid 20's is an early age to start, but might as well stretch the rubber band in the middle, right? Also, I hope to limit the damage from drinking (~6-7 drinks fridays/sats, but I'm 6'3'' 185) and the occasional (very rare) drunk cigarette.

Kava Kava has been linked with liver damage:

U could try the Ashwaganda instead of the Rhodiola for a while, see if you notice anything. If you get good results from the Theanine, try life extension's Natural Stress Relief, it's an improved version of theanine.

I don't know if there's much benefit to be derived from SAMe at your age, if you're doing it for methylation, might just wanna stick to high dose folic acid and methyl-cobalamin, making sure u get all the co factors of course.

If you want to protect your liver, try taking some Mega Silymarin from LEF or other companies with similar strength silymarin extracts. The one from LEF is triple standardized and high potency, I've tried it myself.

For about the same price per day, you can get Life extension's Mega green tea decaff which in 2 caps will provide 652.5mg of EGCG.

You might want to give DHEA a try for your overall health and mood. For the rest I'd take some Carlson vitamin d3 2000IU caps. It costs absolutely nothing, for so much protection!

[RI] Sulbutiamine did nothing for me. Absolutely no noticeable effect. Although, none of the supps that I have taken have produced a noticeable effect.

I haven't had too much of an effect either, but it's a big bottle :). Although, I think I feel it when I play basketball or do other serious physical activity for a long time. I feel like I have more endurance, might just be placebo though. On regular days, though, I don't get much from it.
