I take ZMA before I go to bed, and it warns not to take with with calcium (presumably because it would bind in the stomach and not enter the bloodstream). The problem is that I would love to take Bacopa, but the one I bought also has dicalcium phosphate (aka dibasic calcium phosphate). My R-lipoic acid has calcium silicate, Ester-C has calcium ascorbate, and EDTA has some residual calcium too.. My question is whether these forms of "bound" calcium would interfere with the ZMA, or are they safe because they are already bound to something else?
