Which one is the best to use if you are using retin-a at the same time? Is there any better substance to add in a facial cleanser than these? Is glycolic acid the best AHA?
AHA or BHA

I just got some Retin-a Micro samples, and am going to carefully try them as a way of getting my skin used to retin-a before switching to the vastly cheaper generic 0.025% stuff. As part of this plan, I've stopped using alpha hydroxy acids (in this case, daily glycolic acid at night) a week in advance. Is this reasonable, or am I just being paranoid about the AHA? If everything is cool with the retinoic acid, I'll start adding the AHA back in at some future time. I really don't know if I need to be concerned about this or not.Which one is the best to use if you are using retin-a at the same time? GA exfoliates only the surface of the skin.
Does anyone know? Glycolic or salicylic acid, which is best?

Salicylic acid exfoliates the surface of the skin and inside the pores as well and has an anti-inflamatory property.
GA exfoliates only the surface of the skin.
how do they mix with retinoids if at all?
I merely figured out that my skin does cope well with retinoids+salicylic acid daily, though, my skin is used the heavy abuse due to acne.

Follow with usual prosedure.
AM: Use high SPF+UVA protection.

PM: you use it on clean skin wait till it is absorbed then apply Tretinoin. (It can sting since the Tretinoin penetrates deeper).
Follow with usual prosedure.
AM: Use high SPF+UVA protection.
Wait: i can use salicylic acid nd tretinoin the same day without 12 hour wait in between? uh oh...

U can. Exept it'll strengthen each others effects hence it can be very irritating and/or drying.
