I'd like to quickly explore how people feel supplementing has affected them on the whole. Positive numbers good, negative bad.

i think it would be relevant to know if supplementation had correct a deficient state, ie: correcting social anxiety and therefor making the person more social... or making a normally social person MORE social.
i've had highly positive effects both socially & physically, but they were deficient states to begin with...

I started supplementing about a year ago. I did not get sick this winter, normally I get a few nasty colds or a sinus infection, generally when it sweeps through the office.
I have noticeably less joint pain than I used to, I think this is a combination of supplementation and avoiding gluten (which testing showed I am intolerant/allergic).
A number of blood markers have improved - higher vit D, lower CRP, lower homocysteine, higher DHEA, higher HDL.
A lot of what I take is long-term preventative - benfotiamine, curcumin, pomegranate, chocolate polyphenols, GTE. I don't notice any physical effects or improved blood work I can directly attribute to these (maybe increased HDL), I just put trust in the studies that show these to be beneficial.

my votes turned out to be the current modes of the 3 categories. I really hope to make more improvement in the intellectual category, however. Being a very busy student demands that from me.
