Tom Mooney is also looking for money to do a video he has planned to help in his efforts to convince politicians to look this way. Maybe collaborating with that would be something to consider? I think he said hes looking for somewhere in the ball park of $10,000 more to fund it.

How much did the imminst video cost? I didnt think it would cost that much to get something like that together.

Anyways, if somebody could tell me where to find a link to another video idea in the works then I would be willing to put x amount of dollars to it if we could get everybody else to also. Then once every body pledged x amount to cover it all I would pay in.

Independently, or on behalf of their respective organizations, seven individuals have contributed $31,450 toward the film project.

Damn, so $10,000 is only a fraction then. Do you know what a basic distribution of that money goes to? buying/renting camera, paying publisher, paying advertiser, traveling, paying people salary to do it all ...

This 30,000 is for the first film or an upcoming one?

Multimedia is definitely going to play a very important role in sharing these indefinite lifespan memes. The web is an ideal place to reach wide audiences, so the approach of having the previous film freely available I think was very wise indeed.

I am interested in seeing progress in this area and I'm sure the Thoughtware.TV community will agree. If you're interested in having us encourage the community to get involved in a specific project, let me know.
