very interesting
the prefrontal cortex is the site where a lot of the beneficial effects of amphetamines, modafinil and straterra supposedly come from

Tolcapone is rough on the liver though

But it does show that a COMT inhibitor specific to certain areas of the brain could be very beneficial to cognition and attention disorders without some of the stimulant side effects... I am sure one could be created with less liver and other problems.

Green Tea extract and Rhodiola are natural COMT inhibitors. Both exert a nootropic effect for me.

looks like genotype specific enhancements are not that far off...

I am sure one could be created with less liver and other problems.

some pharma company is up to do that since comt inhibitors are used for treating parkinsons. i don't remember its name, though.
