Christians, or Conservatives? World Net Daily is a Conservative rag more than Christian. I did find the sidebar ad for the weight training program with the gay-themed pictures kind of ironic. I'm sure glad I went there because I finally found a place to buy that Reagan/Bush 84 t-shirt I've been looking for.Christians ... what do you expect

But, soy would not cause a male to turn gay (unless that male was a fetus and the mother ingested considerable amounts during pregnancy - when the brain is developing and is sensitive to the estrogen/testosterone balance) anymore than testosterone will make a gay man straight.

The topic said "Soy Makes You Gay." So he clicks the [Reply] button to make a witty reply. But then the screen says, "Replying to Soy Makes You Gay."
"OK, I give up." And he returns to eating his vegetarian lunch.

Harv sets down his soy-burger and pushes aside his soy-yogurt smoothie to peer closer at the screen. "Say what, now?"

the title makes me laugh!
Why don't top soy consuming countries like China and Japan have higher % of gay ppl then? I read world wide homosexual population averages at 10%. I'm pretty sure East Asia has a lower % than 10.

I've heard many sources saying that soy actually can act anti-estrogenic contrary to popular belief, Bodybuilders apparently do not avoid soy protein for instance.....
A phytoestrogen (PE) is a molecule that is very similar in structure to the estrogen molecule. When PE binds to the estrogen receptor it will induce the same downstream signaling as estrogen and therefore transmit the hormonal message. However, whilst the receptor is occupied by PE it cannot bind an estrogen molecule until the PE is released. This becomes interesting when the time that the binding lasts for is taken into consideration. If the PE/receptor binding time is different than estrogen, say it takes longer to release then estrogen would, then this may have an anti-estrogenic effect. But if there is very little estrogen present then it would have an agonistic effect (pro-estrogenic).
Hence for women PE may be anti-estrogenic but for men it would be pro-estrogenic.
