Hi there, I just stumble upon this site when searching info about nootropics...
I have some mild ADHD symptoms (hyperactivity, forgetfulness, poor impulse control, and distractibility)
and never took meds before because I discovered that I have ADHD not long ago when browsing wikipedia (LOL) and recognized the syntoms, maybe its not ADHD at all and my family always thought that they were just some of my personality traits (Im a ENTP)
But anyway, I read that nootropics like Piracetam is really helpful for people like me and alleviates a little but i need info first before buying... Im very healthy and no drug/alcohol abuse, so amphetamines and likes are discarded from my list, any tips?

This topic has come up several times in this thread. Just do some searching...short answer: supplements may not deliver what you are looking for. But maybe start with Omega 3 Fish oil. Not everyone benefits from piracetam, it's really hit or miss. You might look into DLPA.

Short answer:
Piracetam speeds the thoughts.
Dextroamphetamine (an ADD drug) stimulates (a stronger coffee).
Both have there uses.

Supplements are generally not as powerful as psychiatric medicines, but for some people they could make a big difference. It will take a lot of experimentation to find something that works, but a good jumping-off point for you would be to read the article "Beating Attention Deficit Disorder: Nutrition and Nootropics For Focus & Attention" by James South MA.

Still taking Piracetam, mysticpsi? I went off Piracetam in three months ago to try the Dextroamphetamine (ADD drug). So awesome to go back on Piracetam and have thinking stimulated and body remain calm, instead of amphetamines always amping up the body. Now I'm thinking of regular use of Piracetam and saving Dextro for when in a pinch. Trying to work this all out before school in Sept.
