Alpha-GPC is really expensive. Is it worth the money to buy it?
How does it compare to other choline sources and what are your experiences with it?

BTW, I am trying to stack it with Piracetam.
I heard that Choline Citrate works just as well, but do you still need to take AGPC to get it to stack properly?

Thanks.

Vitamin b5 stacked with lecithin should work fine.

CDP Choline is another option to replace the Alpha GPC

I would actually prefer to take CDP Choline, but I want to buy it in bulk/powder, which is unavailable anywhere; the Alpha GPC was actually supposed to be a replacement for it.

Does Piracetam + B5 + lecithin work as well as Piracetam + CDP Choline? What about a B-Complex? What dosage do you recommend?

True, I haven't seen cdp choline in bulk, and it's also pricey.

Lecithin doesn't work well on its own, as studies have shown. Taking b5 in theory helps the choline pass the blood brain barrier. Alpha GPC and CDP Choline are effective as stand-alone supplements, whereas lecithin is not.

Taking lecithin and b5 together with a full stack of oxi, pira and ani racetams have never resulted for me in brain fog. I take minimum 4grams of lecithin, followed by 500mg (1 tab) to 1 gram (2 tabs) of timed release vitamin b5. If you don't take timed release you probably want to take 200-300mgs. This is guesswork on my behalf - you have to experiment with what works for you here.

DMAE and centrophenoxine also do the job, but in a different (and arguably not as 'beneficial') way. I've abandoned these supplements in favour of the lecithin + b5 approach, which works very well.

Does it (B5+Lecithin+Pira) work as well as CDP + Pira? What do you mean by "taking b5 in theory helps the choline pass the blood brain barrier"?

Thanks for your help so far.

B5 facilitates the conversion of choline to acetylcholine. Phosphatidyl Choline (PC) works together with DMAE to produce acetylcholine. PC, DMAE, the amino acids glutamine and carnitine and B vitamins are essential nutrients to ensure acetylcholine is made. PC is obtained from lecithin.

Does the lecithin + b5 work as well as the cpd or alphagpc? Probably not quite as well, but good enough to be effective, i certainly can't notice the difference. You will feel it if you don't take any choline supplement though! mega brain fog.

Your best bet is with CDP choline. A safe bet is lecithin + b5, in my opinion.
