Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone had any information or success in the area of hair repigmentation. I have seen a study on the topical application of thyroid hormone T-3, but who knows how to get that or if it is even safe...

Any thoughts?

Susan

Hi Susan,

I'm not aware of any interventions that can reverse this particular biomarker of aging. I couldn't find any studies on Pubmed.

I am afraid we are left with cosmetic measures such as hair dyes for the moment. Sorry.

Best Regards,

Alistair

If you Google hair pigmentation and PABA you'll find some articles claiming that PABA supplements bring the original color back to grey hair for some people. But apparently it's only effective as long as you keep taking PABA and if you take it in large amounts. It also doesn't seem to work for everybody.
