Dear All,

I wonder whether someone here has already seen this new book to comment:

"Evolution in Health and Disease"
Edited by Stephen Stearns and Jacob Koella
http://tinyurl.com/5acos7

This new book contains several interesting chapters on aging and longevity studies:

- Perspectives on human health and disease from evolutionary and behavioral ecology
by Beverly Strassmann and Ruth Mace

- Evolutionary biology as a foundation for studying aging and aging-related disease
by Martin Ackermann and Scott Pletcher

- The evolutionary context of human aging and degenerative disease
by Steven Austad and Caleb Finch

Has anybody here read this book to comment on it?
Please advise. Thanks!

Best wishes,

-- Leonid
