Hello all,

I'm a big supplement buyer and highly interested in life extension, well being and over-all health. Mind you I'm no where near close to a medical professional or have the complete know-how on all supplements or even close. I get my information from PubMed studies and reputable forum members on other sites, particularly bb.com.

Browsing over this site I have learned A LOT about vitamins in the past few days, especially multi's.

My goal currently is to get in tip top shape, staying away from damaging actives and keeping my over all health and youthful appearance.

I recently turned 28 this past month and am told by most I could pass for someone who's trying to buy beer with a fake I.D.

So anyhow, I was hoping some of the intelligent posters on this forum could help me out on my supplement habits, knocking out the dead weight and adding things that would be beneficial.

Here is what I take currently:

Controlled Labs Orange Triad (Multi/Immune/Joint/Digestion complex)
EGCG Green Tea Caps 500mg
CLA Caps 1000mg
Omega 3 Fish Oil (6 caps a day, divided 2,2,2)
Beta-Alanine caps (3 per day)
Intrabolic (Intra workout blend, twice a week)
Optimum Nutrition Nitrocore 24 (blended protein)
Champion Nutrition Whey
Olive Leaf Extract (20% oleuropein) 150mg 6 caps spread out 3, 3
Garlic Supplement 4 caps a day, 2, 2
Vitamin D3 1 cap, 1000 I.U. non-fish liver source

Any and all help is much appreciated! Look forward to be a contributing member to these forums!

Thanks again.

I'd drop the Intrabolic cause your already taking Beta-Alanine. Drop the Nitrocore and stick to one quality whey.
Might consider adding acetyl-l-carnitine, lipoic acid, co-q10.
Start using retin-a and build up to nightly use.

Thanks for the response. I use the Beta-Alanine as a Carnosine boost on NON workout days, workout days (weights) are twice a week and intrabolic is used only then.

I am getting Na-RALA capped as a supplement in under a month...I have read this is better than ALA.

ALCAR is touted for many benefits but I've also heard it is a pro-oxidant and you need something to combat the free radicals ALCAR produces?

I honestly don't know what retin-a is/does for you if you could please explain, and also CO-q10.

Many thanks.

Do a google or search here about Co-Q10. Very popular.

Here some great info. on retin-a:

http://www.imminst.o...o...&hl=retin-a

Cheapest place I'm aware of to buy it is here:

http://www.alldayche.../Tretinoin.html

Get the 0.05% gel

Have you considered resveratrol? It's popular with life extentionists and it's had research with positive results; scientists believe it can prevent a variety of chronic illnesses. Another popular supplement is Quercetin (found in skin of apples and red onions) an antioxidant (flavonoid) which has anti-histamine, anti-inflammatory properties early research has shown it might help "prevent cancer, prostatitis, heart disease, cataracts, allergies/inflammations, and respiratory diseases such as bronchitis and asthma". It can also help reduce the symptoms of anxiety, stress, and fatigue.

You should look for these on pubmed though, since the info I provided was gathered from google.

Yes, there is a 98% Res product on Nutraplanet called Rez-V that I will be picking up along with a brand from NOW to enhance absorption.
