The Iraq war has been tragedy and John McCain has been one of the champions of that war. Now
he's telling us that victory is in sight. But what does victory in Iraq mean?
After the WMD excuse was discredited we were told we went there to install democracy. If anybody believes that I have for sale a bridge
to nowhere for 700 billion dollars.
We went to Iraq because Shalabi told our leaders that it'll be easy, we'll control the oil and be allowed to keep bases there.
Anybody with a little knowledge of geopolitics should have seen what was going to happen.
The Shiia Iran is the baddest guy in that neighborhood. Another bad guy next door was the Sunni Saddam. They hated each other guts. The
smart thing to do was let the situation be. They'll be watching and checking each other.
Instead, Bush gave the order to knock Saddam out and our troops fought to put Shiias in charge of Iraq. These Iraqi Shiia are very good friends of Iran
and, in time, will turn Iraq into a client of Iran. In other words, victory means handing Iraq to Iran. When we manage to neutralize the
Sunni that task will be completed.
So the Bush/Cheney gang including McCain, screwed this up already. What to do now? Get the hell out yesterday. While there is still some Sunni
strength, let the Iranians fight it. Don't risk our soldiers. And we wont be spending 10-12 billion a month and losing soldiers.
As for the oil we are not getting any. The Chinese are.

Let's not forget that Rodham and Hussein voted for the war too.

It wouldn't be a good idea to let all the soldiers who have died for our country, die in vain. It also wouldn't be good to let all of that tax-payer money go to waste neither.

Have you ever played Texas Hold'em? Well, we are committed now, and we are winning the war; it would be a huge mistake to pull out now when the job isn't finished.

A liberal looks at this picture and will think, we can't win, we should go home. A patroit looks at the same picture and thinks we can't go home till we win.
