I don't realize if many of you pay attention to the polling of who won the debate or not, but one will notice that Obama has a 3:1 lead over McCain in people's opinion from the various news organization website of who they believe won this first debate.

This in reality can be bad for Obama because the news sites are liberal where mainly only liberal people will visit because the biases that the media are displaying in the election are sickening, thus the voting was mainly from Democrats. This would mean that close to 30% of Democrats believe McCain won the debate, theoretically. If you truly give the debate an unbiased opinion, you would see that McCain truly did win. Concluding from this, you could say that almost 30% of Obama voters were turned off from Obama tonight and may vote for McCain on election day. Of course, this will depend on how well McCain does on the next debates as well. So, if almost 100% of McCain voters think McCain won, and 30% of Obama voters think McCain won; one could conclude with a great amount of certainty that McCain will come out higher in the polls within a few days. If I am right, we will see this. I believe that by Tuesday, McCain will have an average 4 point lead.

On a side note, I would also like to add that Republicans aren't the ones who give Obama the "cool" factor. Because of this, Obama's strange, demeaning facial expressions and body language he exerted tonight will be looked down upon as that of a flawed character which is disturbingly in contrast to that of which a President representing the United States should display. He is obviously a pompous, cocky person who feels he is too far important to be giving the respect he should have given McCain tonight.

I've mostly determined that it isn't worth replying to your posts, because they are so extreme in nature, it doesn't make much sense. It is as if you're detatched from reality and live in your own universe. Talking to you would be akin to trying to discuss something with an extraterrestrial; we have no basis in common language. This post simply reinforces it: The entire media is liberal? Only liberal people will visit the news sites? And only liberal people will vote in said polls? Really? Then what about you? Why do you bother watching the news and checking polls, then eagerly, but bitterly post about them here, while trying to create some sort of wacky monkey math to rationalize every single setback for your cause?

Regardless, this sort of thinking makes me wonder: Are books liberal too? Do only liberal people read? At this rate, you should skip on college too--just too damn liberal! No need for books, education, or knowledge. Just go with your gut--it knows best. You're the sort of person Bradbury and Orwell warned about.

In any case, soldier on. Despite my better instincts, I had to pause and post, because while I have conservative friends, and I have Republican friends, they are generally sane; we may disagree on policy, but we all still live in the same shared reality. You're in some lala land created by Lee Atwater and his disciples. Even Barry Goldwater and his inheritors would disown your brand of crazed conservatism. But I'll leave you to your fantasies. At their best, they are at least worthy of a passing laugh and at their worst, they really have no impact.

I think that my posts are just too far over your head which in-turn cause you to become frustrated because you cannot pinpoint the rationale or the big picture. One can only learn so much from books etc... You act as if everyone in this world is on the same intellect level and the only way to surpass another is to read books. I'm sorry but intelligence does indeed have a genetical factor which you've seemed to have forgotten about. Also, don't forget that people learn from life experiences as well. Ever heard of "street smarts"; it's obvious you don't like to apply this factor or someone's genetics into how intelligent they can be in allowing them to think outside the box and in such an abstract manner where it is possible to see the picture as a whole as I have here in this instance.

This is hilarious. It's so funny because you carry the premises of luv2increase to their logical conclusion, incredulously, and yet you hit the nail on the head.

and I think you should skip on college. Government schools are a scam- they are purely institutions of social control and have nothing to do with education.

Oh. My. God.

I have this terrible urge to mock you further, but for the sake of the forum, and because it adds nothing for me to belittle you ad nauseam, I'll simply say: Before you begin to sound like a crazed caricature of a conservative Republican straight out of a Daily Show mock interview, I'd learn some self-editing skills. Or at least I'd learn when not to share certain details of your personal philosophy, as it applies to things like, um, books, or "street smarts". It heavily undercuts anyone's ability to take you seriously.

Of course, if you were really intending to be comical, then bravo! You are actual a lot wittier than I initially gave you credit for.

Suspire, please don't feed the trolls. It stinks that ImmInst has trolls now. I really like this community. Sickens me to see it cheapened by partisan drivel. Hopefully, once the election is over, and these guys aren't keeping score anymore, things will return to normal.

Of course they don't make much sense to you because you are not used to hearing opposition to Obama. You probably only watch MSNBC, CBS, and ABC I am assuming for your news. Am I right? If so, it isn't a surprise to me that my posts "doesn't make much sense" to you.

It is as if you're detatched from reality and live in your own universe.

Really? How so? Because I'm not a fan of Obama? Please elaborate for me and others please.

This post simply reinforces it: The entire media is liberal?

I never said that.

Only liberal people will visit the news sites?

I never said that.

And only liberal people will vote in said polls?

I never said that.

You like interpreting my words to your liking don't you? That isn't fair now is it? I didn't think so.

Why do you bother watching the news and checking polls, then eagerly, but bitterly post about them here, while trying to create some sort of wacky monkey math to rationalize every single setback for your cause?

I like to get the whole picture as I've said numerous times on here. See I, unlike you, will watch and pay attention to all news regardless if they are incredibly biased or not. I then interpret what I see and hear and make my sense of it. You, on the other hand, will watch your liberal news and take everything the liberal people pimp on there as gospel and as you ignorant blind truth. This isn't my fault. I bet you don't even watch anything in opposition to Obama. That is why you aren't used to seeing anything in opposition to him which confuses you and upsets you. I'm sorry but your beliefs are conceived from one side of the spectrum. You need to start searching the other to make an informed decision.

Regardless, this sort of thinking makes me wonder: Are books liberal too? Do only liberal people read? At this rate, you should skip on college too--just too damn liberal! No need for books, education, or knowledge. Just go with your gut--it knows best.

I've already been to college. I've read many books especially on human psychology and persuasion because I am a salesman. I am well informed to see what's going on behind the propaganda. I invite you to read this book by Robert Cialdini Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion. It will help you tremendously as it has me.

Good luck!

Excuse me... Trolls? I don't understand. Are you saying that this debating isn't conducive to interesting discussions? What would this forum be if everyone agreed that Obama should be President? It wouldn't be very fun and interesting, only convenient for those Democrats who like Obama. Basically, it would be dull.

You are also talking like a Communist here in that you feel it would be better to suppress those who have opposite beliefs to yourself. Talk about being closed minded; that is the definition right there. Bravo.

I really like this community. Sickens me to see it cheapened by partisan drivel.

Do you not realize that the great majority of people who have been posting on here are for Obama and against McCain????? I could understand that statement if you were in the minority; believing a Republican and/or believing McCain is the best candidate. That statement is absurd.

It's much worse than what you just described. The most rabid of the trolls freely dispenses medical advise and prescriptions in other parts of the forum.

Hold on there chap. We are in the political forums now so talk about that. There shouldn't be any discussion to medical advise in this forum. Your statement also isn't warranted because modelcadet wasn't alluding to the least about that which you have brought up here; actually one couldn't make an inference to their supposed correlation (in your opinion) in the least. He was talking about partisan drivel which you can't apply to medical advice in the least!

You are all over the place in the worst of ways inawe.
