Biased moderator. Debate moderator has a personal and financial stake in electing Barack Obama.

Bias showing again...

"You both have sons going to Iraq"...

Palin's son is a soldier. Biden's son is a lawyer.

Of course Palin won't talk about Obama accusing soldiers of "air raiding villages and killing civilians"

She and McCain need to come out and say we need to start taking or buying cheap oil from Iraq. They owe us. Now she looks weak without it. Should be listening to Michael Savage .. hah

I thought they both did fine. This debate was more interesting than the last one in my view, first because there was so much anticipation around it, and second because I think Biden and Palin came across on a more personal level than either McCain or Obama did in the last one. In any case, I suspect this will help McCain/Palin somewhat since I think many people (including some McCain supporters) were expecting to see a train wreck - and it wasn't any where close to being something like that.

Palin is MY Dogma Mama! I (<--very gay) cannot get married to a man, but she TOLERATES me! As does Biden! Hurray! And say it ain't so, Joe, but she WINKED at me! I totally BLUSHED! I think I am going to go watch hockey! I might even "choose" to turn straight again someday if she keeps it up with those adorable smiles and Tina Fey glasses, troublesome natural climate cycles be DAMNED!

Now I want to ride around on a domesticated dinosaur. Hurray!

Yeah, no train wrecks. I thought that Palin was throwing out a lot of recycled Reagan era "get government off our backs" talking points, yet repeatedly criticised Biden for "looking backward" when he brought up the Bush Administration and how similar McCain's policies are. I wish Ifill would have said "Um, you aren't even remotely answering the question. Let me ask it again." a few times. I really didn't see the moderator bias that "bayesianbandit" (aka Savage) was claiming.

Did anyone choke up a bit when Biden shed a tear for his wife and children?

Oh Richard, welcome to the Politics Forum. I know why you don't like Palin......

Palin clearly won this debate. It will really be evident tomorrow when the "Fact Checks" come out. It is sad that none of you probably watch anything besides MSNBC because you don't know yet that Biden make MANY lies and misrepresentations that will be brought out tomorrow.

I'll give ya'll a little teaser. Biden said at the beginning after Palin mentioned Obama voted to raise taxes on Americans earning $42,000 a year that McCain did too along with Obama on that bill. This is a bold face lie. The preliminary fact checks show this is not true!!! There are many others :)

Oh yeah, I'd like to reinforce this once again, Palin kicks Biden's behind.... Until tomorrow ladies and gents...
