Hedgehog looked at the Vital Prime stuff, and it wasn't particularly good. He has access to a full analytical lab. RevGenetics has every batch analyzed by a third party lab, and doesn't sell garbage. Anthony (from RevGenetics) is a known quantity here, and also offers deals to ImmInst members from time to time. I don't know if there's a deal on now or not, but I do trust Anthony to provide a quality product.

I believe that if you are (or become) a member of imminst ($5 for 1 month), then you can get a discount down to $65 for the revgenetics stuff so price is not so significantly different.

I also remember that there was some indication that the vital prime stuff may have higher moisture content adding to the weight. I think Revgenetics is 99% and Vital prime is 98%.

I think quite a few people here use or have used the vital prime stuff so it is probably not all bad. I personally see it as a fall back option.

Finally if you want to help TFI with his cancer meds, Revgenetics does give a bit of each purchase to this cause - you need to enter the code when ordering which I think is IMMINST.

Please confirm all of the above with vital prime and revgenetics before ordering - I may have got it wrong or things may have changed.

Hi Resvhead,

actually the code to help TFI with his cancer meds is "Immortal", not only do you get 5% off your purchase, but TFI gets 10% for his cancer meds as well.
Having said that, since I can see that Savage is a paid member, I will forward him a discount code so that his RevGenetics 99% res powder purchase drops down to $65.

The great part about it?
If you use both "Immortal" and the new discount code for being a paid member when you order... the price drops easily down below Vitals Prime's price...and you get to help TFI with his cancer meds to boot.

You win on your purchase price, a win for imminst, and a major win for TFI.... a win, win, win...

Cheers

I have just started my research into Resveratrol, after reading Suzanne Somers' book, "Breakthrough." I am looking for high quality powder, as I believe there are usually no flow agents used in the manufacture of loose versus capsuled or tablet form supplements. This is very important to me. Can you tell me if either or both RevGenetics and Vital Prime use these flow agents in their powder forms? Also, I'm not sure who TF1 is, but it sounds like someone in critical need, so I will be using the "Immortal" code, and would also love to receive a discount code as a paid member of the Immortality Institute. That would be great!

Best

Flow agents are used mainly in capsules and tablets.
Most of the industry blends these into the product and uses them for their semi-auto and automated machines for tableting or encapsulation.

Bulk powder should not have flow agents or excipients.
I can only speak for one of the companies you mention, and can say we do not have any flow agents or excipients in our bulk powder.

I recently returned from China, where among other things, I showed VP sample data to a resveratrol manufacturer. His opinion was that the powder was either old, or had been stored improperly, by way of explaining the clumping of particles into large aggregates. Whether this applies to all their batches, or just the one which I had a sample from, or if it was exposed to heat and humidity after being shipped from Vital Prime, I cannot say.
