Cinnamon is an exciting supplement used to control glucose levels. The extract Cinnulin-PF is widely available at a decent price, a supp I've been using for quite a few months on it's pretty impressive research regarding lower blood sugar levels. Eating large doses of cinnamon is definitely to be avoided - it is anti-bacterial and can become toxic if you're dealing with raw plant extracts. Eating regular amounts in food is a good thing imho, but do not start mowing down on cinnamon due it's high ORAC rating. As has been noted before, the ORAC scale is (and I believe I'm quote Duke on this one) more of a litmus test and can't be relied on as a real marker as to if the antioxidants have a benefit on human health. It's best to consider the phytonutrients involved and their direct correlation to your body whereas anti-oxidants are getting to be a dime a dozen, and not all are good on ya.

I sprinkle cinnamon on my oatmeal; I used it for taste, but it's good to know it's healthy for you.

Some people even like to try to eat a tablespoon of cinnamon............. :-)
Don't do this at home, though... or on youTube.

If you can't eat a tablespoon of cinnamon, you're a big sissy.

Too much raw/ground cinnamon is toxic (the toxins are in the lipid fraction of the extract)
