I bought two different Vitamin D bottles. One had little white powder caps and the other were little circle jell caps with what looks like a yellowish oil inside. I dont understand how these could be the same thing or why theyre different. Which is better?

Thanks

The powder is dry vitamin D
The gelcaps have it dissolved in oil.

Definitely go with the gelcaps.
The body doesn't absorb Dry vitamin D very well.

I've received every bit of information I know about vitamin D from Life Extension. Why would they choose to release it as a powder? http://www.iherb.com...c...d=4049&at=0

Rrrrrr!

It's not that the powder doesn't work, it's just been observed that gelcaps are absorbed more easily in those who may have problems with the powder affecting their D level (I know someone who's fine on powder), so gelcaps are advisable in general. If the powder is taken with fat it should make it comparable to a gel cap.
