Any thoughts? I only share this because Sabinsa is known for bringing some cool supplements to the market and BAC doesn't usually sell cr@p, and I love all things Coconuts.... but I haven't heard anything about this stuff.

Coconut water tastes good, has more potassium than gatorade but its pricey.

If the stuff was less expensive I would buy it regularly.

I read that originally they couldn't market it because it starts to ferment after you expose it to air. But they resolved that problem somehow.
I see coconut juice in cans that I think is the same thing but don't understand why they call it coconut juice. I haven't tried the juice in cans.

I like all things coconut too. I like to add some light coconut milk to my protein shake to give it a rich creamy quality. I find that coconut oil doesn't always dissolve that well (unless I melt it which is too much trouble) if I have some frozen fruit making the shake icey cold.

Coconut flour is relatively new and targeted to low carb dieters.

I don't understand the difference in age after being picked between green coconuts and brown ones.

There's nothing like the water from a fresh green virgin coconut. I study in the Caribbean and we there are vendors walking the city selling coconut water/meat for about a dollar a piece. It's awsome! I usually drink at least 1 per day or, if a vendor passes by my apartment, I'll fill a jug with coconut water and drink it throughout the day. I also use the meat to make desserts or frozen ice cream. Coconut water is used there for any kidney or urinary problems. It has the same osmolarity as plasma so it's a strong diuretic. Coconut water was also used in place of plasma in the pacific theater during WWII when medical supplies were short. That's what I read anyways.

Coconut meat is also very thermogenic

Living in the third world has its advantages! :)
