Here's the thing. Education is the key. Education is the only way to propel action.

For example, it took 20 years of education that trans-fats were a leading cause of health issues because action finally kicked in, with local governments, like NY City, finally banning the stuff. Look how long it took to ban cigarettes from work offices (including the doctor's office!) and public establishments.

Likewise, it's going to take 1-2 decades to convince enough people that radical life extension is a reality, and then real action on a public/government scale will kick in.

Hell, there are people who still think that global warming has nothing to do with man's presence on Earth, never mind that when you fly into any major city visibility is measured in single-digit miles versus 100 miles just 50 years ago. It's going to take longer for people to be convinced of the more fantastical idea of radical life extension than the much more believable global warming -- so we have a long way to go.

Quite simply because most people resist change, have a closed mind, have no foundation whatsoever in science, and so lack to basic groundwork to even comprehend this subject.

Sorry for a dose of reality on this topic. But it's best to truly understand the job ahead.

Well, I certainly agree that it could take a long time. I have no illusions that this is a clear down hill journey. I also agree and know that education is a key. Its a huge part of the meme. Im glad you bring it up because its good to emphasize it.

I mean, we need shows, we need this in the news, we need teachers mentioning it, we need more universities to create more departments to specialize in this, we need to keep informing and educating the politicians so they can help us spread this faster, etc... We need a lot of things.

We arent going to get it now, but we can help get this to the next level faster. There are lot of marketing techniques we can work with over the next couple of years that can help us help all the life extension organizations of the world get this message to the whole world. We may not, but then again if we try hard enough and keep surging forth, we just very well may get this idea out to the entire world with in 5 years.

Once we get this to the whole world, then that will mean all the sooner that the seeds will be planted in their heads so that they can start growing. One thing is for sure, if they dont even know about this cause, then they definently cant support it. There are thousands of life extensionists around the world already, that are here having been marketed to very little, to not at all. Imagine what world level recognition of this is going to bring in. If it brings in even just 1 in 10,000 then thats like what, close to a million people for the cause, and Im sure it will be many many more than that. Hell, these days Im finding that most everybody that even just I talk to about this at least considers the idea. Thats about a 95% rate there. If that trend kept up across the world we would have billions of supporters, and in the end, I think we will.

There are a lot of concepts that go in our favor, like, as the crowd mentality begins to build for us then more people will start latching on just for the crowd mentality of it. As more mothers start talking to their kids about this, and as the kids start seeing this on tv and stuff, its going to get a higher percentage of them to start taking this path as a career. There are billions of people around the world that readily and easily beleive in stuff like the invisible man in the sky. Its that easy to get so many people to beleive in something like that, its going to be that much easier to get them to beleive in something more serious and real like this. Your right, of course we wont convince them all, and we dont need them all.

Another thing, people want their lives, they want health and time, and people want something to fight for. They say that a big part of the last few generations problems was that they didnt have anything to fight for. People crave a common cause to unify them and give them meaning. This is that cause. in the long run the world cant deny it, and the sooner we bring them the vision, the sooner they will be able to see, and the closer we will be to the possibility of acheiving healthy indefinity for all of us.
