I ran across this study today:

A high menaquinone reduces the incidence of coronary heart disease in women.

http://www.npicenter...w...9&zoneid=28

The study showed a 9% reduction in risk of developing heart disease for every 10 mcg of natural vitamin K2. They attributed the benefits to MK-7, 8 and 9.

Sorry if this has been posted previously somewhere and I missed it -- just thought K2 folks might be interested. There are still the issues of optimal dosing, supplement vs food, and MK-4 vs MK 7, 8,9 to study, but the evidence does seem to point to reduced heart disease with K2 supplementation, especially with the Rotterdam study considered.
