That's not entirely correct... Medicure is trying to get FDA to ban the sale of "unapproved" P5P, because they don't want competition for their own P5P product. Isn't bureaucracy great?

Well if they can get pyridoxamine off the shelf then any company can give it a shot and try to get exclusive rights to some form of some vitamin...
