No official guest for this week's show - yet. I did ask Brokenportal if he would like to make an appearance so that members could ask questions and get to know him a bit more.

I will come up with some other material as well. You never know how the "open show" will evolve, so be sure to drop on by.

It might even involve cat food. :)

You could always make it a weekly hook. "What will Mind ingest this week?" haha

I did have a couple of shows revolving around food during the last year. We looked in the fridge. We looked at my supplement cupboard. We went out to the garden. I am sure everyone remembers the lemon tree.

I will probably cover current events and projects at the Institute, as well as solicit suggestions from the audience this week. Always good to do a periodic review.

Also, a preview of some upcoming guests.

Shannon once requested a look at my tie collection. Don't think that would be too big of a draw.

I missed the last bit of it today... I had pointed a co-worker to the URL so they could check it, and I ended up having to help them undo the affects of a vile link someone posted in the chat box.

I must have come in after it was posted.

I didn't click it personally, but Janice (my co-worker) claims there was no closing it (via Ctrl+W, X'n the tab, etc.) outside of killing the browser process. The issue there was this link was opened in another tab, and she uses Firefox's feature to restore tabs on startup and didn't want it to restart, nor did she want firefox not to restore her 30-something other tabs. So a slight adjustment to her sessionstore.js file seemed to do the trick. Not normally using FireFox in this manner it took me a few minutes to figure it out. Having to talk her through it over the phone didn't help either.

Needless to say she won't be back around here. Amazing what you find out about folks when they have unsolicited gay-porn popped up on their PC. :)

Yes the stopping it was easy enough by killing the browser process... it was the straightening out of her sessionstore.js file that took a tad more time.

Edit: My spelling is really bad today
