I got a bunch of stuff from vitaspace. Everything seems OK except I just tried the magnesium taurante and it tastes like...corn starch or something. Very organic, which seems odd to me because taurine tastes like chemicals and magnesium tastes like...metal. Anyone tasted this stuff before? Everything else (which was much more expensive) seems fine, but if this is the wrong thing I don't want to blindly scoff down whatever it is. Also, magnesium is probably one of the most important supplements for me.

Magnesium is the mack-daddy supplement in my stack. I use taurine powder from NOW foods and it's tasteless. Powdered magnesium tastes like crap. When you take a dose, do you feel the effects? That's how I know if it's working or not.

Hmm, my taurine's definitely not tasteless. It's not a super strong taste, but it's not a good taste. It seems to work though. I don't get a strong immediate result from magnesium anyway. I googled trying to find flavor but can't find any reference. I guess I will order some from soemwhere and see if it's the right stuff.

Well, the powder is way cheaper, if you cap it yourself.

This powder is not right, I am pretty sure. I got some magnesium taurate from another source and it's a very pale blue and tastes...magnesiumy. Hard to describe it, and smells minerally. Whatever I got smells organic, like some kind of flour or something, probably corn starch. Everything else seems fine, so maybe I can get him to take it back, but it's a big pain in the ass because it's 5kg of the stuff.
