Hi,

Recently a new forum area has been created, the Retailer/Product Discussion and a introductory descriptive post by Mind.

The goal was to have a way to deal with spam. While trying to describe what the properties are that define spam, we (not surprisingly) found out that there's not a clear boundary between spam and non commercial contributions. Especially regarding certain types of suspected viral marketing. It also depends on individual judgement. To deal with this subjectiveness we created this Retailer/Product area, where we can move suspected spam instead of removing, so that we are able to handle the grey area more subtly.

The vendor area should also be used for supplier related issues that would formerly have been posted in the "nootropics/research & supplier" area. The name of this area will be renamed to "nootropics/research" soon.

FYI:

I have noticed that the Vendor Area is not accessible if you are not logged in. Folks need to be registered and logged in to access this area.

The "logging in" problem developed after the forum outage this weekend. It is being looked into.
