I always eat after I've brushed my teeth. I'm trying to avoid it, but if don't get some food I can't fall asleep.
Usually I'll eat a can of tuna and then brush my teeth. After that I usually get so hungry that I need to eat some bananas right before I fall asleep. If I do so I'll brush my teeth again, but afterward s I'm hungry again. Any tips? I guess my habit is not too beneficial for my teeth.

Are you sleep deprived? Lacking sleep can make you think you're hungry when you really just need sleep. If you are getting adequate nutrition but can't fit enough sleep into your schedule I suggest finding other things to satiate yourself when you're tired but don't want to eat. I often have a vitamin C or a sugar free breath mint to chew on when I have to stay up late working. Also drinking plenty of water seems to help. Finally getting some high xylitol gum to chew couldn't hurt the teeth although chewing gum brings up its own issues with possibly overworking the TMJ.

No, I'm not sleep deprived.

Anymore thoughts about this?

sometimes i get hungry about an hour or so before bed. i tend to just suck it up with willpower and drink zero caffeine tea, often chamomile.

i try not to drink too much tho, cuz you end up having to go to the bathroom nonstop as you trying to basically get to bed.... but filling my stomach w/ tea, is superior to food, i think.
