I think despite all these break throughs in skin moisturizers, the best thing you can supplement your tretinoin use with is pure vitamin E oil (and sunscreen of course). Even if it sometimes gives a temporary sheen to your skin, the benefits far outweigh the oily look it leaves till the point of full absorption. I do base this on my pitiful little anecdotal experience with moisturizers (most leaving my face red and irritated and my pores big) but I stand behind this assertion that no scientific study is going to tell me that any chemical moisturizer is better than Pure vitamin E oil. There I said it, I sounded like a religious fanatic, and I meant it.

EDIT: I am banning the use of all other moisturizers accept vitamin E oil.

Use it in a serum along with C, ferulic acid, etc......for much better effects.

But natural vitamin E oil is much cheaper than E+Cferulic. That stuff is ridiculously expensive for something that is a product of nature, and should be much cheaper to thus manufacture.

I could not agree more. A great reason to make your own.
