Wow, haven't seen that thread in a while! I especially like that flier with the radical life extension.

Im putting these images on products in the imminst store right now and Im finding that the logos at the link in this topic are in low resolution if you blow them up. The existing logos in the store are the same way. If somebody on the Art Team helpers list or team list wants to then please create a logo in higher resolution if you can.

I need the logo by itself, and I could also use the logo as it is shown at the link in this topic, but with "Advocacy & Research for Unlimited Lifespans". If somebody wants to try a variety with other slogans then that would be useful to have on hand as options also. Things like maybe, "We need your support like there is no tomorrow," or any of the other suggested slogans. There are many dispersed through out the art team.

Ill be ordering some of these products to give as prizes to volunteers. By making this logo, it may qualify you to win the product it goes on.

Alright, I was just looking at it. I thought that cafepress would allow me to put in text under the logo there, but now Im seeing that may not be the case.

Therefore, Ill need a logo with the following centered under neath it in shades and sizing that looks good:

I made a pic of a poster I mentioned. I hope ink smell will go away )))
It's intercoat self-adhesive vinyl, I ordered it for 6$ at a local poster factory. Actually it was printed on this thing. I plan to decorate my car, but with promo for transhumanism-russia.ru or starenie.ru (starenie=aging).

Alright, these are all good, but I need a few things to move forward with them in the store.

JML, yours works on t shirts and stuff, but we could use a version with the wording that is even bigger. I know you made it bigger once, but we could use one with wording that is even bigger. If you or somebody wants to try a couple versions with a few different sizes then please do. Also, that version is small when I try to put it on a poster. We need one so it can be really big, and not get blurry when we make it so.

Bogger, that logo is good too. Can you do one like that and add the mission statment? Also if you can save us a copy here that I can transfer to the store. A version that is not a picture of the poster if you can.

I also need a long version for a bumber sticker, like a banner, that just says imminst.org, Immortality Institute, and the missions statement. We could also use a couple of versions of all of these with out the "Immortality Institute" part in them.

Then also we could use as many creative examples as people want to suggest. Such as maybe, "Immortality Institute, ya really, get with the times, imminst.org" "Imminst.org, Advocacy & Research for Unlimited Lifespans, we need your support like there is no tomorrow." "Industrial Age, Technology Age, Transhumanism Age<--ImmInst.org, thats where we come in, join today."

We still need a variety of different forms of the logo and name and mission statement. If anybody is interested in making some more versions then another we can really use is the square version with the big logo, but with big bold lettering for the name and mission statement underneath it. The versions we have work well for some things, but the lettering shows up to small on other things.

Also a banner like we have, but with bigger bolder lettering. The current lettering doesnt show up on flyers very well.

We could also use as many trial versions as a person wants to make, of a banner that says "A.R.U.L at imminst.org Advocacy & Research for Unlimited Lifespans"

It could say "imminst.org A.R.U.L. Advocacy & Research for Unlimited Lifespans" You could try versions with out the dots like this, "ARUL" etc... Use the logo and the same colors.

Versions with just mission statement.

Rwac made this higher res blue one. This is the biggest clearest blue one we have that I know of. We still need more, art team, if you guys want, knock yourself out making varieties of slightly different combos of logos with the mission statement, imminst.org and full name Immortality Institute. We could use fancy ones, different colors of blue, ones with clear backgrounds, etc... This could help a lot. We'll post different kinds in particular that we may need here too.

If somebody wants to work with more logos, we also really, really, really need more high resolution logos, that can be blown up and maintain resolution, with wording that is bigger in comparison to the logo. With those two logos with transparent backgrounds for instance, we can really use versions with these styles and sizes of wording but with the logos still that same size:

misspelling in logos

Alright, nice, those will help, can you or somebody also make versions where the logo we see there is put on that wording I made there with the wording, and the logo there at the same scale we see them now? Do you know what I mean, so that the logo is that much smaller? If you want try two with the middle section like this too:

How did you create those ?

One little problem though. I only see part of the logo when I open the svg files.
Here's what it looks like to me.

 

It's just a live trace in illustrator cs4 (comic art preset). I didn't adjust the artboard size, new feature, so some viewers (just tested opera, firefox) clipped it. they also don't display the text properly. Anyway, it's intended for vector graphics editors.

I really like your logos. How did you go about it? With enough resolution, you might just vectorize them in cs4.
