the site or if it's their business to sell products discussed here. Maybe when people register on the site there could be a question regarding whether they sell the kinds of products discussed on the board. If they answer yes, then the indicator would automatically be added to the avatar. This would just be to make people aware there may or may not be slight bias. I'm not saying anyone on this forum is biased or that advertisers don't have valuable information they're sharing that is often unrelated to trying to sell a product. I just think it would be full disclosure.

This feature would not deter 'viral' marketers, but may be helpful in other ways.
Check with Mind and other members for feedback.

Interesting concept, but how many people would it actually apply to? We only have one advertiser who posts regularly.
