Hello all,

Has anyone here tried Strattera? How does it compare to Adderall?

I am in a position where I may need to stop taking Adderall because of the AMP positive (exceptions are not likely, even though it has been prescribed to me). I can't find much info on it, but I'm assuming Strattera won't test positive for amphetamines... anyone know for sure?

Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

It won't test positive.

The problem is, strattera mostly sucks. The side effects are the worst of any drug I have taken, and it really didn't help me either, even though it was insanely expensive (to get a high dose youa re talking 540 a month!). On the bright side some do better on it and it doesn't have the bad issues of adderall, though.

If I were you I would try to switch to guanfacine, wellbutrin or perhaps even ritalin (if that is not tested for).

If the tests are given with advance warning all amphetamine will be out of your system in 72 hours max. Probably in 24h but that's not guaranteed.
