Gene therapy has been used to correct genetic defects in a sample of extracted tissue, which was then reverted into pluripotent stem cells

Amazing. This could hold the possibility of curing all kinds of genetic diseases even in adults.

I guess the people who obsess over Gattaca will be disappointed now. :|o

I believe genetic engineering in Gattaca only took place before birth, so this could negate a Gattaca future.
