I want to know all the alternative ways one could become immortal.

I'll go first:- Way number 1

Future scientists solve how to time travel and now they have access to every person that ever lived.
So they transfer the consciousness of everyone, a nanosecond before death, to man-made virtual bodies in a man-made virtual heaven for eternity.
So every being that every existed (human/animal) will become immortal.

Who's next

Solve :)

Do you really believe that?

Virtual bodies? Man-made virtual heaven?

It´s not demonstrate so far, than man (and his conscience) can have another body -virtual or not- and still be that person. Besides who needs a second category body when you can have a first class one? Who wants a Heaven of second choice (if that can exist)?

A place where you are going to be the entire eternity, must not be good it has to be unbelieveblie good!

-Alien abductions could work.

That may sound silly, but I've actually thought about that.

It's actually (IMO) unthinkable to believe that ETs don't exist, and if they do, just imagine what technology they might posses.

Surprised no one mentioned you can drop $10.00 on the Time Travel Fund, it is in the realm of possibilities-I'd put it ahead of some of the ideas in this thread at least :) : http://www.timetravelfund.com/
