I've started putting some supps in the fridge, like piracetam and my creatine, because it's getting hotter in my apartment as it's summer. It gets into the 80s in here. Is this a good idea or is the fridge too cold?

Dr Michael R. Eades recommends putting fish oil into a glass container and then the fridge: Oxidized fish oil

What are your guys thoughts?

The fridge is fine. The problem happens when you open the bottle, and humid air hits the cold pills and surfaces of the container, and water condenses on them. How about taking out a week's worth, and storing them at room temp in a tightly sealed bottle. Then once a week, take the pills out of the fridge, let them warm to room temp, and take out another week's worth. That would be the safe way to do it. It's probably not worth the trouble, except maybe for unsaturated oils. You could always get a small air conditioner for one room, and keep the drugs in there.

Well the issue is not settled :p

Maybe we turn this into a collective 'do you refrigerate your supps?' thread and go on group opinion...

I've just started fridging my fish oils... Where I live its summer and we get numerous 40+ C days (100+ F), so im slightly I'm concerned! :-D

I refrigerate my fish oils, and my bulk powders like piracetam.

I did refrigerate phenibut but it either didn't do any good, or drained it of all potency. I ended up having to throw out 3 bottles of the stuff because it did absolutely nothing after a while.

I've given supps to my mom, and she always refrigerates them. I never bothered though except for fish oil.
