However, the key here is manned spacecraft. What about a von neumann probe, only weighing a few grams with a human level or better AI made of quamtum computers. It could have on board a universal replicator to convert raw plantetary mass to a human colony. All it would need is the human genome on its AI. That is engineeringly possible in this century, as a ship weighing a few grams can get to near light speed with relative ease. You could use a solar sail that has a huge diameter but extremely thin, thus a negligable mass. The problem would be colliding with stuff at 90% the speed of light.

Now that would be a neat work around. Transportation through atom by atom reconstruction from one place to another. Go to sleep on earth and wake up ~three years later in alpha centauri.

Even if it will be possible one day I doubt many people would be interested.
Sure it would be cool to see some other planets altough even if atmosphere would besimilar to what we're used to alien bacteria and parasites would kill us just like smallpox killed Indians, we might try to seperate from nature but it's much easier just to use robots.
We might also try to terraform some empty rocks but that wouldn't be very interesting for tourists- 10 years of travel in cryonic chamber just to see some different stars, slightly lower gravity etc. that doesn't sound like a good deal.
So perhaps colonization?
But how many people would actually want to live on the cultural (perhaps not only cultural) desert, far away from at least some part of their family and friends, disconnected from earths internet, pop-culture, fashion etc. can you imagine waiting two years for another season of your favorite sitcom?
Something terrible must happen to push people out from this comfortable planet into the unknown, especially since we started to globalize. If humans ever colonize any planet my guess is most of them wouldn't be white because white (western) people are not desperate enough when it comes to money and they have more to lose regarding life style than let's say a Pakistani overpopulation is also not the issue so who knows in the future Islam might be the most popular religion in the known universe...

I think we'll go there sometime in the 2100s... Well, if it has anything interesting, anyway. Otherwise it will just be some unmanned probe. If we go just under half the speed of light that means it would take 10 years for a ship to get there...
