A friend was just diagnosed with breast cancer. I have been giving her info about resveratrol and suggested thinking about taking it as part of whatever treatment her doctors put her on. My one concern is that in one of the cancer studies, low dose resveratrol was found to stimulate the proliferation of a breast cancer cell line. But most of the research suggests its beneficial for breast cancer. What do people think?

think it depends on the type of breast cancer (her-2, brca 1/2, etc.), and resveratrol alone is probably not the optimal answer.

there are a couple threads about this, search the site.
